you can thank mr. pervo that stole my friends photos.

i'm not even kidding, you should create and use a watermark on your photos.
linkie lueville gives a tutorial here.
i have a lot of fun creating new ones all the time-however, something i am guilty of: not using them.
well, you can bet that is about to change. read lindsay blog here. and you will see why.

I'm so sick to my stomach now. I will be doing this now to all photos I've posted and repost the new ones with the watermarks. Thanks for linking the tutorial site. I like how you put a butterfly on there... I think watermarks make a picture so ugly but you managed to do it without it being so. I'd like to use something pretty like that too.

Yupp happened to me too. I used to watermark my pictures but lately I haven't! I really should but someone told me if you copyright you blog and they try to take pictures from your post its copyrighted and they can get into a lot of trouble.
Still super creepy. Expecially the fact that the person who stole the pictures claimed Kingston as there child. Eww.

Very creepy - I watermark my photos but I should probably make it bigger and more blatant. Of course I don't worry about my children cuz I don't have any...but still.

This scares the crap out of me, I'm so glad you shared and also linked on how to create fun watermarks. I just read a few months ago about a craigslist adoption scam where someone's baby boy was being used as the poster child for a fake adoption agency...

ugggghhhh.

It's easy to add watermark to photos. Just should be a matter of habit.
Watermarking is the most effective way to prevent misuse of your digital photos.
Watermarking software is not too expensive either.

BTW Please always leave this post up. I'm linking it for all my friends. And linking your friends watermark instructions too. I have so many friends who blog their kids photos ...
