you have got to be kidding.

we just got back from seeing rowan's naturopath-it looks like she might have celiac disease. shoot me now.
poor kid, i can't believe we had no idea and were just going about life.
stay tuned for test results...not till next monday. bah.
trying to figure out what to do in the meantime. to gluten or to not gluten. duh duh duuuh.

That's too bad... Several people in my family have Celiac, so we all eat gluten-free for the most part. Makes it much easier to have family dinners where everyone can eat the same food.

I've heard from at least a dozen people in the past few months that they/their child were diagnosed w/ celiac's by a naturopath. It seems so common nowadays. I wonder why. Have you checked in with her pediatrician?

That said, my sister in law has celiac's and has been gluten-free for the past four years. There are TONS of yummy options without gluten. Good luck!

She has an appointment with her piediatrician on Monday. I am crossing my fingers that it is a little more simple like a dairy allergy.
