When it comes to our kids, I think as Mom's we just live for the milestones. Has our baby rolled over, crawled, walked, talked, etc.? But then when the big ONE hits, it's like all of those milestones didn't even matter, and we're wishing to just go back to when they were in that sack of potatoes state. We're constantly pushing and wanting to see results, just to see them grow, it's not bad. As a mother of an almost 18 month old, I realize now how precious time is, and I let my kid just be who he wants to be at that moment. It is so
important to just CHIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLL, ya know?

I have loved watching Stella grow on Hi, Baby blog at her own pace, with a patient yet excited Mama guiding her along. Melissa has the experience of knowing that time goes by so fast, and so I have loved seeing Stella have the opportunity to take her time. I love seeing that silly smile on her face and those gorgeous brown locks. Such a pretty happy girl!

Happy Birthday Stella! The blogosphere loves you!

And just for the heck of it, this is my son when he was 12 months old!
