bloggers for babies do the march of dimes.

all this planning, fund raising, preparing and the day was finally here-we were marching for babies to help ensure a better life for babies born way too soon.
i am still humbled by the donations that came in to help me raise money for this great cause; thank you thank you again from the bottom of my heart!
the walk started out at 8 am with tim, stella, and rowan all in tow. well, the girls got to ride snuggly in the bob under warm blankets. i think tim was a little jealous. the walk wasn't bad at all, a lot better then the six miles i had been fearing but was happy to learn it was only going to be only just over 4 miles on a scenic route through downtown tacoma, along dock street past the glass museum, around to pacific ave and back to the tacoma dome.
it was such a blast and i can't wait to continue to participate in years to come. huge shout out to mandy from harper's happenings who endured tee shirt torture, mass emails, planning, and her own fundraising-she did an amazing job as our leader!
chelsey from the paper mama, melissa from hi, baby, andrea from peanut butter handprint, tessa from life according to lennox, michelle and justin, jill from chronicles of corbin, amanda from raising reese, amanda from pretty little life, susan, erika from bird e studios, fiona from letters to littles, and my good friend amy all pulled together to raise over $2,400 which is absolutely amazing. go team!
michelle and lulu, amanda and ellie, andrea and griffin, me and harper, my mama, fiona and elle, amanda and reese, tessa, me and rowan and stella, chelsey, amy, jill and corbin.
there are so many things that are weird about this photo. the claw? the weird midget arm attacking me? chelsey?
