epic weekend leftovers.

i don't apologize in advance that this post will be photo heavy. my kids are cute and i am pretty sure you enjoy looking at them as much as i do, right? well, i guess in this post your being forced to look at some of me too.
friday, after chelsey made it into town we had a chill day of bbq'ing, playing games, and mailing wedding invites! i am glad she was here cause tim was totally giving me the side-eye when i asked him to photograph the actual mailing of the invites-photo of invite to come soon now that they are out!
before we met up with our fellow blogger staurday night, chelsey and i had a whole afternoon planned in seattle that included meeting up with fiona. after dinking around pikes, eating a nomable sandwich, and licking the gum wall; chelsey and i headed to a local salon to get feather extensions in! i totally recommend it, they are so fun!
remember last post where i stepped out and made you all jealous with photos of yet another meet up with my favorite bloggers? here are some more of that:

whoa chelsey, where is your hand going there?
love. no, LOVE these ladies-they make my world go round lately!
if you haven't already had or are planning a local blogger meetup then i highly suggest it! there is a reason why you stalk these peoples blog day after day...because you love to hear what they have to say and relate to them on some level or another. this mah friend equals a match made in heaven. ps, pnw'sters there is totally a large scale blogger meet-up in the works for september. please stay tuned from mandy @ harper's happening and i for more details coming soon!
we ended up heading home that night vs. staying in the hotel with the other girls due to some sleep arrangment miss-communications-i am glad though, cause after staying up till 2am all i wanted was my feather top and f.hubs. here is where i stop to brag about the fact that not only did he watch the girls saturday night, hand over his credit card willingly, but he let me sleep in till as late as i wanted...THEN let me take a huge nap in the middle of the day. i sure do love him.
after chelsey hit the road sunday morning, we headed out to a little shopping at target where...wait for it...our target is finally joining the 'super' ranks! the new carts are all ready there and the produce wil be joining next month. after months of sad faces due to the fact that it looked like it was never coming, i am pretty excited about this! tim even bought me two new summer tops, again...a keeper!
after target, we hit up spaghetti factory-one of my old favs that i especially love for their prices. we all stuffed our faces for under $30 and that included ice-cream! then finally after the epic nap, it was on to the pool and some more fun in the sun! it was a lot cooler on sunday and the pool hasn't really had a chance to warm up yet so the girls weren't really too excited about staying in long!
this is what we look like when we play bubbles, how about you?
