hi, baby you're fifteen months old.

see, i told you i would blog again and there is still more to come. this is my only week off from school before summer and my hardest quarter starts (i have to pull a 4.0 in both of my anatomy and physiology classes to guarantee myself a spot in the radiology program). my days are consumed with chai teas, a smooshy baby, pajamas, and netflix. occasionally we venture out for a playdate.
the other day, the same day i wrote this post i snapped these photos of stella busy at life. she wanders into her room quite a bit to play on her own, her most favorite thing is her big sister's dollies. from around the corner i watched this hilarious event unfold; first it was all about her baby and taking care to put her in and carry her on a mission through the room. just when you think it couldn't get any cuter she kills me dead with this-now it is her water bottles turn for a stroll this afternoon. she places it in ever so lightly making sure to buckle it in, places the carrier in the crock of her arm and off she goes.
our little stella jolie is fifteen months old today-tim would argue that in fact that happens tomorrow, but he just does that to get me all steamed, i am on to him though. she is a short three months, ninety some odd days away from being a year and a half old. today her favorite things are yogurt smoothies, climbing on teetering boxes, moo-ing like a cow, and getting her shoes when we are getting ready to go.
she signs more please, and says thank you without being prompted. this week she has started following me into the bathroom and sitting on her potty while i go-still in a diaper but i figure this is a great first step.
we took one side off her crib thinking we were ready for her to transition but so far the open side has stayed facing the wall-i turn it during the day so she can climb up and down and enjoy it this way...baby steps people. <--i know, i know it seems so early but she is actually older than both her sisters were when they transitioned without problems and i can't wait to get stella into her new-to-her vintage bed.
this is both tim and my favorite age, she is busy busy and always doing new things-we can't wait to take her to the oregon coast in a few weeks to camp and cannon beach and play in the waves.

she is such a cutie. and that is funny that tim argues with you (about the date) on purpose...sounds like something my hubby would do too. : )

haha-for the first couple of months both him and his mom were convinced it was the 23rd, i had to pull out her hospital papers a few times and remind him in fact she did come out of me and i was pretty sure i knew what i was talking about :)

What a sweet age, exploring the world and gaining so much independence. She is a doll!

12-23 months really is one of my favorite stages! And 15 months doesn't sound too young at all, we switched our kids right after their first birthday. I think it makes for an easier transition when they're younger. Good luck, mama! I'm sure she'll do fabulously. :)

Happy 15 Months!! I didn't realize our girls were SO close in age! Jessi girl will be 15 months on the 25th. I'm absolutely obsessed with this age. We are having such a blast!!! As I'm sure you are too :)
