mah weird offspring.

this pretty much sums up the rest of our weekend.

a rousing game of hide-and-seek; have you seen rowan? stella constantly climbing on ANYTHING she can; advice? the bigs never did this! and finally skipping nap to hang with our new friend the balloon.

who are these kids and where did they come from?
before the weekend was over we squeezed in a trip to church where we found out that we are trading in our beloved face to face talks with our pastor for a big screen and a live feed. our church eastlake cc is seriously bursting at the seams with thousands in attendance every service; it only made sense for them to find another location and do the multi-site thing but with four total being part of the plan our church's staff is being spread from here to the tri-cities (tri-city peeps-if your looking for a good church look no further!) and our head pastor will be live at our new uw campus-it just doesn't make sence for us to drive to seattle for church and if you know anything about eastlake then you know we can't expect our kids to trade in there classroom slide entrances, enormous bounce houses, rock walls, air hockey tables, and more for mobile rooms at a complicated campus.

ok, now that i am done whining; this is really a good thing and am glad either way we can celebrate god the same way and hear the same amazing messages week after week! also, on that note i went to my first leader training for summer session growth groups. i am so excited that this season tessa and i will be hosting a mom's and munchkins group where we will check out local fun parks with fifteen other eastlake moms and their 30+ kids! i am so excited for this next step on my spiritual journey and can't wait to grow even more.

I know what you mean about leaving the awesome kids rooms!  that was what initially sucked us in to ecc! like ryan said, though, the original people from kirkland jr high had to readjust so that there would be a seat for us now.  i am just excited to see how else god wants to use our church.  can't WAIT for the group to start :)

eep, you know what just made me bummed? i wonder where dave lunsford will be? the music is a big part of why tim loves eastlake and he knows dave personally...he would be bummed if he left.

Hmm, I dunno.  I do know there will be separate bands for each location, probably with Dave at one, Tom at another and maybe Leah/another male lead at the third?  No idea.  Or maybe they will rotate, who knows.  You should tweet Ryan!  I know when we asked him about the childcare he wrote in his notes to include it in the next services so that may have been something he addressed later in the day.  Hopefully it works out - I know how hard it can be to drag a man to church sometimes!

Thanks so much for the kind words...your sweet!  I just take pictures for fun.  If I ever got around to learning more I would love to take it to another level, but for now I have no time.  I really love your style with your photography!  Your pictures blow me away!!!  Such beautiful girls as well!!!  I'm so glad you stopped by and I will be better at leaving more comments as I read your awesome blog!

Your girlies....so much cute!! My church has 14 locations and it's almost weird for me to ever see a pastor speak live. I love it though, amazing how many people can be reached!

it will def be a change and something to get used to! we could travel a few miles to where the pastor is live but we can't give up the amazing kids rooms the main campus has :(
