pony royale "princess ponies" review

This post is sponsored by Pony Royale. I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective, and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

pony royale, a new toy line starring beautiful princess ponies, brings a fresh new approach to princess play in the fashion doll category. pony royale combines favorite play patterns - hair play, fashion play and nurturing play - to give children endless hours of open-ended creative play with a fun and easy fashion system. the full collection, featuring twelve princess ponies, all with the ability to mix-and-match their manes, tails and fashion pieces, will hit store shelves in late july at toys r us. with just two ponies you can create over sixty fashion styles and every pony comes with their own personal jeweled birthstone design!

i have been anticipating this review for weeks, i mean, my kids were going to freak - and they did!

i let them open the box to get their full surprise reaction and they literally started squealing and grabbing for the ponies. these weren't like any pony they had played with before, they were gorgeous and sophisticated and came with posters! the pony royal ponies offered many options and combinations of clothing and hair to help fuel their imaginations. rowan was really excited about the brushes that came with!
after the girls were done inspecting their horses, running their fingers over their sparkly features and talking about different hair and clothes combinations they would try, i let them put some of these ideas to work. they had no problem switching out the hair and clothes themselves, the mane slides ride out of a easy slit and the tail and clothes take just a simple pop into the back and you're done. i love that they didn't stick to the matching sets and started trading mane and tail hair and mixing with each others saddles and head pieces. each pony comes with two hair options in totally different looks!
in no time at all the princess ponies were in charge of all of the land, i walked into some fun play happening where the ponies were addressing their subjects...all of the other animals we own, i guess. i keep hearing giggles coming from the room as well as bargains to trade hair and saddles, and that rowan terribly offended that zoƫ is accusing her pony, brooke, of passing gas - these are the perfect toys for the older girls to share and spend hours playing with together while baby sister naps.
